TIME to get entered!

Racing two or more weekends? GET THE LICENSE TOO! ($150 cost)

Worth it? Well, anyone planning on running all 4 weekends already knows it is. Why would you run the first 12 races of the region and not run for points that pay $6000 to win with the top 15 getting something back? There will only be a week and a half left to the 'season' after March 5th and it takes place between April 28th and May 7th. Barring weather reschedules, points are over on May 7th. Added to that is the fact that any car that can run top ten every race would miss out on a minimum of around a $2000 gain in purse money alone when the 12 races are over if they don't have the license. It's a no-brainer for an additional $150 investment. Guaranteed $1080 back if you run all 12 races and can't make a single A-main. Make just one A-main, and your license will have already paid for itself and then made you some too.

***BUT what about the lower budgeted teams or guys with businesses and jobs that they can't leave for a month? Maybe they can only do two weekends. (6 races)

Making just one of the 6 A-mains makes having the license worth it as you'll get your license money back plus more purse money than what you would get without a license over the 6 races together.

Running at least two weekends? Get the license!

One weekend? While win amounts are the same whether licensed or not and even start money on the Saturdays is healthy $300 for non-licensed cars, if you're a good running car, there are still a lot of positions in the A-main paydowns that may make you wish you had bought the license should you finish well.

Call 515-832-7944 and enter TODAY!

Going to be some serious talent at Ark-La-Tex Speedway this week for round three of this deal...

The strongest field of the young season will be gathered at Ark-La-Tex Speedway this Thursday thru Saturday. In addition to the tour regulars and Rodney Sanders returning from a Late Model detour in Florida...

Invaders such as Terry Phillips, Jeremy Payne, Chris Brown, Timothy Culp, Lucas Lee, Preston Seratt, Troy Shute and no telling what other surprises at this point are expected to be there.

Along with you-know-who... Win-again Chris Henigan... and Ralo Pilkington, Jason Ingalls, David Winslet and Kyle Cummings already indicating they are coming. Other possible regulars include Wes Armstrong, Dustin 'Tater' Hyde, Kenny Gaddis, Sean Gaddis, BJ Cook, Kyle Taylor, Kelly Lockey and probably more... Haven't even checked on the Monroe-area, CenLa and DFW-area teams yet.

North Carolina's Kyle Strickler made his first USMTS starts last week and already has a runner-up as he heads for Ark-La-Tex next. He wanted to run the Doug Murphrey in 2014 and 2015 but the weather forecast and then the weather itself messed him up both times. Looks like it will be all clear in time for Thursday night's action this time!

And... Dougie Murphrey will be there in the pits as a spectator starting Friday. He hopes to return to racing himself later this year. He will of course be hosting the 10th annual COMP Cams Doug Murphrey Memorial Race on June 3rd & 4th.

Johnny Scott, Stormy Scott and Dereck Ramirez returned to the tour last weekend in Waco and Fito and Jake Gallardo are coming in from New Mexico this week as well.

Then... There's the Mesilla Valley Transportation Road Warrior regulars! The 21 drivers with perfect USMTS attendance so far and therefore eligible for as much as $10,000 ($2000 minimum) if they make it all the way to the Fall Jamboree in September are...
