What's everyone thoughts on lift arm like how much travel should be getting what spring for tacky or dry.. Or shock valving works best all around

Be very careful relying on travel only. My experience is more late model stuff, but it isn't out of the question to stiffen spring and gain travel because the tires hooked better.

But latemodels have twice tire to get better traction then mod with American racers so wouldn't need to spring it softer

Yes. I didn't give you a number. The same result could happen for you going from say 150 to 175.

That's softer then what I had and I was barely getting over 2 inches travel at 34 inches out

I ran a 250 at 30" and would typically get 2-2.5" of travel with ump Hoosiers I typically like about a 5-6 on rebound and 3 on comp

I had a 200 with American racers usra type barely getting 2inches I feel it should travel more to help aid some forward drives upper dry tracks
