Ok, weird question, arent all metric frames supposed to be the same?
I built a stock car back in 2012 and sold it in 14, the guy who has it calls
me and asks if I did something crazy to the crossmember... says he cant
get an engine to fit unless he uses the exact pan as I had on it. even with
a claimer pan, the sump hits or the fuel pump.... I never noticed it when
I put the car together (I used the pan I had to mock up engine location).
I have built several cars since then, and never had this issue. The only thing
I can think is maybe this car had a deisel engine originally and frame is thicker
in crossmember area. he says side by side with other chassis, something looks
slightly off. An ideas?
