How does everyone bend the top on there door and quarter panels round not just in the brake. I need to find a way to bend it so its not just at a 90. Round is a better look

thanks

I just do a couple bends about 1/4" apart, not a "roll" but close.
I have the stuff to convert my brake so it will make a roll, but changing out a 10' chicago for a few bends is a pita!

I actually do 5 bends 1/8" apart and u cant tell the difference at all between actual roll and bent. Works well for us....

We cut a piece of tubing to put in our break works perfect

could you describe exactly how you did yours ? my brake doesn't have a radius bar.

Take 1 1/2" tubing spilt it down the middle put in top part of brake then slide in metal your bending

guess i'm just going to have to try it .. what your describing doesn't seem like it would work because you still have a 90 degree bend point where the foot meets the lever-up part.

You put the tubing in the top part of the break where it clamps down on the piece of metal your bending

GRT62... I've been thinking about doing the same on the brake when I'm building the body for my MB. Thanks for letting us know that it CAN work.

Like this ? Still looks like it would just bend up a bit and stop .. like you'd never get 90 degrees on the bend.

Pretty much but the Green line would be center of tubing and the tubing is rotated up more and closer out to the edge, and you are correct you don't get a complete 90* degree bend but it pretty close to it

that only works if your top can be moved back

I wondered about that. mine can't
