Went to practice last Sunday.Car handled great. We had installed an action camera on the r/f, the car was just lifting off the bump stop on the straights. It looked like we had an inch or two till the frame or crossmember was hitting the ground. Is there any advantage to trying to travel the car more?I know it will change dynamic camber. Will it unload the left rear?

Yes, the more the right front goes down, the more the LR will come up which will unload it and give it more steer also.

Anybody ever try traveling or bump stopping the l/f?Our current r/f shock and spring combo was arrived at by trail and error, anybody ever figure out when you should change your primary spring vs. when to go to your secondary vs. shock rebound?

Right front travel is not an indication of the LR unloading. This is a common myth. If you put a softer spring on and get more RF travel, you haven't caused any more weight to transfer, you've just changed where it is transferring to. The only thing that can change the amount of weight transfer is a change in lateral force or a change in vertical center of gravity.
But to the OPs question, the biggest advantage you're going to get in maximizing travel on the RF is sealing the nose to the track. There is a tremendous advantage to this from a downforce standpoint and not just on the front of the car. Every bit of air that gets under the car is air that does NOT make it to the spoiler and it lessens the vacuum created by the open back end of the car.
