Open 8" tire, what's the fastest and or best wearing?

I know the Hoosier open e-mod tires are said to be .4 faster than the UMP emod tires. I also know AR's are regarded as a better tire for most. What would you run if it only had to be an 8" racing tire with no other limitations? I currently run UMP hoosier A/AS/D/H.

Not sure about the open tires being that much faster than the UMP tire. Sometimes the UMP tire is faster. Depends on the track. The AR tire is good too. There are times when they aren't as fast as the UMP tire either. We went from Med AR tires to M100 open tires and got faster. Then when the track started getting abrasive, and knocked the edges off of the M100, we went to the Med open Hoosier. They were way slower than the A40 UMP tire. We won an open show on a black slick track on A40 tires when the next 4 cars had on Med AR and Soft open Hoosiers. I definitely think the open tires are better in the mud though.
