Ponderosa Speedway Test and Tune Open Practice Set for Sunday March 20
Junction City, KY-March 13, 2016- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jerry Denson will open the gates to Ponderosa Speedway for the first time in 2016 on Sunday March 20 as the track will present its Test and Tune Open Practice Day for all competitors in all divisions at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring”.
The Test and Tune Open Practice will take place on Sunday afternoon March 20 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. EDT. The general admission and pit areas will be open at Noon on Sunday March 20. Admission to the general admission area will be FREE for anyone wanting to watch practice, while a pit pass will be $15.
Ponderosa Speedway is set to begin the racing portion of its 2016 race schedule with the track’s 44th Annual Season Opener on Friday March 25. The event on March 25 will feature a full racing program for the track’s Pro (Crate) Late Models, Modifieds, KDRA Super Stocks, Four Cylinders, and Mini-Cup/Cyclones.
Ponderosa Speedway is located at 365 Phillips Lane on the Boyle/Lincoln County border, outside of Junction City, KY, just minutes from Danville, KY. Jerry Denson is the track promoter. Ponderosa Speedway Test and Tune Open Practice Set for Sunday March 20
