Simple question .. how do you guys label your springs with the spring rate ? 550 / 375 / 225 etc

I use a paint marker pen I get in the paint dept. at my local farm store.

The shocks I have all have been engraved on the ground flat spot.
I also write on them with a paint marker right next to the end coil (where nothing touches the spring, so it won't get rubbed off), and I also typically write it on the outside edge too so I can see. And for the record, if any one sneaks a peek at what springs I'm running, I don't really care lol

Just add 50# to the actual spring rate and mark that :)

Hey Racer... I've added 500#'s to my numbers before. I had a guy ask me how I got my old Ford to turn with a 1500# rf spring!

I use a label maker then wrap packing tape over the label, holds up well. I don't let people close enough to see spring numbers so not worried about putting the incorrect number down to fool anybody.

That's pretty funny :)
