Hoosier G60

How tall are the short G60's? Their website says they're a 25.5" tire which should measure out around 80" on a stagger stick, but the local Hoosier guy says a short measures out around 82.

How inaccurate are the markings? From what I've gathered from searching, they usually measure smaller. If they're smaller then how much smaller are they typically? I really need to find a tire that measures out around 80-81" max.
