Summit Racing Equipment Continues Partnership with American Modified Series in 2016

Glasgow, KY- March 27, 2016- Representatives with Summit Racing Equipment and officials with the American Modified Series would like to announce that Summit Racing Equipment will continue its partnership with the American Modified Series and will again be the title sponsor for the tour for upcoming 2016 racing season.

“Our series is very humbled and blessed to have the great folks with Summit Racing Equipment once again involved with our series as a primary marketing partner and series title sponsor”, stated series president Jeff Crawford. “Summit Racing Equipment’s involvement with our series provides us the capabilities to present great UMP DirtCar Modified competition at several great racing venues”, added Crawford. “The 2016 racing season will mark the seventh season of competition for our series and we are so appreciative for Summit Racing Equipment for their involvement in our tour”, concluded Crawford.

When the 2016 season concludes for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series, the tour will pay out well over $200,000 in nightly track purse money and championship point standing money.

The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is also pleased to announce it will continue
its working relationship with the UMP DIRTcar Modified organization, as the UMP DirtCar organization will have its officials at all series events to handle technical inspection of the race cars.
Drivers can also earn points toward the UMP DIRTcar Modified national title, along with earning points toward the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series championship title as well.

The 2016 Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series season championship points fund will pay out as follows: 1st- $5,000, 2nd- $2,500, 3rd- $1,500, 4th- $1,300, 5th- $1,100, 6th- $1,000, 7th- $800, 8th- $700, 9th- $600, 10th- $500. For a driver to earn his/her full payout for their finishing position in final 2016 series points, the driver must be a member in good standing with the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series and must have attended at least 75% of the series points events.

The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series presents UMP DirtCar Modified sanctioned
dirt track entertainment at racing venues throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee.
