I am looking at getting a set of World Product S/R heads. Just wondering if an assembled set is worth the extra cost.....I don't want to buy a good set of heads with crappy valves and springs...Thanks...

I wouldn't buy them loaded you never know what you are getting typically they are loaded with off brand equipment to keep the price low they would be fine on the street but your gambling on a racecar. Also the valve job isn't the best either a good engine builder would do a better job for sure.

I've used a lot of the Engine Pro Competition series valves and never had an issue they are reasonably priced and they are a good product. For the budget classes I have also used Ferrea 5000 series with good luck also I do believe the Engine Pro are also made by Ferrea but they are more like the 6000 series.

1.94 / 1.50 11/32 stem NO undercut... I turn 6100 to 6500 rpm... I used Elgin for 2 years..In 441x heads....With on problems..This past weekend I broke a valve off and drove it back up the seat sideways...Haven't taken everything a part so not sure what else I broke yet...LOL
