How can I make a 33 36 rearend work in a car that calls for a 33 35 without changing the axle tube

You can't.

Put it in, the RR will just stick out an xtra inch. Just make sure its located via the J Bar in the proper location, laterally.
Run a 6" offset rim on the RR, instead of 5".
Not preferred of course.

For the cost of the rim just put the tube and axle in it. Wouldn't take much time at all and its easy to do.

Thanks for the advise guys. I'm going from a tnt rocket type to a tnt mastersbilt type and I was just trying to save most of the stuff that I took off

Good point.....just use a standard wood cutting radial arm saw. Those blades work fine when cutting aluminum. A standard chop saw blade tends to melt the aluminum too much.

that's what I did, my axles had the adjusting bolts and lock nuts on the end of the axles, I took them off and got the inch with out cutting, only cut the tube.

maybe try running it, use a 6" off if its slick, there a lot of times I wish my grt had a 36" tube to free it up.
