60 laps and $12k is the standard Saturday Lucas show. I'm perplexed why they cut the laps and the purse, but as was suggested, it may be due to the weather and as a result a predicted lack of attendance.

I think they upped the $ through the field, but could be wrong. Not the biggest fan of Lucas, so don't pay much attention the their standard purse

It's technically a one day Lucas show now.... So they are going with the one day purse.

A 20k to win show for that track probably needs 2 days of gate money to make it work. Obviously they aren't getting two days worth of gate money. Rainouts and purse reduction happens all the time in the racing.

I'm a fan of JD, but heading into the season I wanted to see someone other than him and Bloomer winning everything. I wish it was T-Mac or Francis or O'Neal getting their first Lucas win, but it was still good to see another driver get one.

How many provisionals can Flinner get?

Pretty much it's limitless as long as he has perfect attendance. You start with 8 for the season plus two emergency provisional, then you can earn additional provisions for perfect attendance. If you want to look to see how they wrangle it you can look at the Lucas rulebook here...

Everybody bends the rules in different places. I hate the excuse of "I've never been there" or " I'm not very familiar with that track" but Lanigan took a big step changing series and he isn't totally comfortable and it shows. Last night that track came to his liking and it worked out. That team as a whole needs to stick with a chassis and let their drivers get comfortable with what they are sitting in, this isn't Nascar and just switching the wrap. O'Neal has been in 3 different chassis in not many more years than that.

I don't think they just "switch" the wraps. I try to find the chassis selections each week and they arent bringing Martinsville, Bristol, Darlington, Dover, New Hampshire cars to 1.5 mile or larger tracks each week.
