Rod Conley Victorious at Atomic Speedway for First Win of 2016 Season!

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Rod Conley, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, nabbed his first feature victory of the 2016 campaign on Saturday night, June 18 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio! Rod was able to sweep the evening's festivities at the track formerly known as K-C Raceway, as he set Fast Time in qualifying, won his heat race, and later led from flag-to-flag in the feature event. At the checkers of the weekly Super Late Model headliner, "Hot Rod" found himself celebrating the $1,500 win over Duane Chamberlain, Jason Montgomery, Greggie Oliver, and Mark Frazier!

At Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday, Delmas and R.J. Conley were in the pit area to vie for a $2,000 top prize. R.J. clicked off the fastest lap overall during the qualifying session, but unfortunately hurt a motor in doing so and was forced to scratch from the remainder of the program. Delmas, on the other hand, knocked down the fifth quickest time in qualifying before scoring the win in heat race action. After starting the weekly A-Main from the outside of the front row, the Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer led the majority of the race before finishing a close runner-up behind only victor Nick Bocook. Complete results from both racetracks can be accessed online at www.atomicspeedway.net and www.portsraceway.com.

The exact same weekend schedule will greet the trio of Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) drivers this Saturday evening, June 25. Rod will head back to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio for a $1,500 to win weekly Super Late Model show, while Delmas and R.J. will return to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio to compete for a $2,000 winner’s check.
