From Dirt on Dirt, announcer Rick Eshelman was kicked out of the booth by some clown at Spoon River last night, which explains no broadcast for that race. No details were given only a disagreement between Eshelman and Spoon River announcer BJ Stone.

Yep, not a good track. Pretty rare at Tri-city. Takin rubber in the 4th heat. Too bad, great field, great crowd.

Fact: Bobby P. has a fast car and is maturing into a very good driver.I just wonder what he was really trying to do when he got into Moyer's quarter panel going into turn 3 on a clear track? We know he has the reflexes and talent to avoid doing that if he chooses.I think he could be a "smooth operator" if he would reign it in and be more patient(JMO) DOD has the race up if you subscribe,check it out and let's talk about it-w/o bias toward either driver. :)

I knew when I got to the track at 5:30 it was going to be junk. They needed a lot more water on it . Spraying water on top like they always do is just a waste of time. They need to cut it open and get the water down in it. The pack trucks were packing the track in and they were raising up dust. I knew it was going to be a long night.

let me guess the track was a grey color instead black correct , only been going there since 1961 I love the track kevin and crew are going a great job but something is amiss or could be a combo of crazy weather tire rule starting too early time trails for both classes

In these weather conditions I would assume it take a lot of water all week long to keep moister in the track. They usually doing a pretty good job so, like I said sometimes you on and sometimes your not.

Need the water 10 12 inch down.. If you just toss a bunch on top it stays on top and makes mud..Want the water coming up so it best to start a day or 2 befor hotter it is the more water need day befor..Once you got it the way you want it you got too keep putting water on it or it drys up.... Its a Art too do it right...

Too much water and it ends up so rough that we all tear stuff up all night. The track was really racy until half way through the latemodel a main. That is how pierce was able to overtake moyer. Once the bottom rubbered up it was a train show though. Im not just saying this as a fan in the stands, I raced my mod there.

Ok!! Then lets say if Feger and Bobby would not have been racing hard at Cedar Lake. Moyer would have never caught either of them.

I was at both tracks plunks7 was you? The track took rubber Tri City in the heat races. If Moyer would have stayed on the bottom Pierce would have had to run over him to get around him.
