Well since I-55 is calling for a 90% chance of rain for the Summer Nationals/WoO this Saturday, I was thinking of going to Highland the following Saturday. Never been there before. Is it a good track? Tell me some pros and cons of Highland Speedway please!

It tends to lock down on the bottom so hopefully they dump a lot of water on the high side to keep that from happening.

Highland is only 40-50 miles from Pevely so I'm sure the rain chances there are high as well.
It's s a bummer...I was headed up there too but it's not looking good.

Highland has one of best facilities to watch a race, track is so so at best, especially in summertime. I wouldn't take a chance on pevely if there calling for rain they will take your money and cancel the show right up to, including during the program if it gets that far along. i speak from multiple experiences attendingthe track.

Yes. I misread the original post. My fault.
