I agree. Watching the video from last night, I figure Tyler Erb could probably just about tear his car down to the frame and check every last component. Sounds like he did replace quite a bit before they even departed Rockford last night. At any rate, good point by you, these WoO guys surely would rather have a parts failure tonight than this weekend.

Tyler erb ran an older black diamond last night. Had his rx 1 out, but after seeing the track he put it away. My First time seeing him race and it was a pleasure. Need more like him and pierce to keep the future going strong. in 20 years from now they could be the Moyer/Bloomquist of the sport.

Erb did it a few years ago at Peoria. Was in a wreck that took some time to clean up. He went past the hot pit and to his hauler, changed a control arm and came back out and ran. Drivers complained. Sam claimed he didn't see it so it didn't happen.

If there is video proof of him getting out of the car and that truly is the rule, then he should be done for the race. If there IS undeniable proof, how is that any different than tire tests coming back after the fact causing DQ's?

I have nothing against Pierce but if you're gonna make rules, enforce them. (Yeah, right...)

I'm well aware of his talent. One of the top 3 drivers in the country right now. That why it was so disappointing. I told the group I was with to watch car #1 because he was the point leader and he would move through the field starting having to start towards the rear. Green comes out, and Richards, Yunghans, and Briggs pull into infield. Quite a letdown.

Under those track conditions, if Richards had started front row, and Brian started at the tail, do you think the results would have been the same? And be honest with yourself.
