“Hot Rod” Conley Remains Hot with Atomic Victory; Hectic Holiday Weekend Ahead!
(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Wheelersburg, Ohio standout Rod Conley recorded his second straight feature win on Saturday evening, June 25 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio! Rod won his heat race in preliminary action and later started the weekly Super Late Model main event from the inside of the second row. After grabbing the point early in the distance, "Hot Rod" led the majority of the contest to lay claim to the $1,800 winner's check over Greggie Oliver, R.J. Conley, Jason Montgomery, and Audie Swartz!
His brother R.J. hit the wall during his qualifying laps prior to advancing up to finish fourth in his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the eighth row in the 25-lapper, R.J. blitzed through the pack to score the third place podium performance. J.T. Conley returned to action on Saturday at Atomic, but he was unfortunately involved in a heat race incident and was forced to scratch from the remainder of the program. Conley Motorsports, Inc. is usually very busy over the 4th of July holiday weekend and this year will be no exception. The group of four drivers will tackle weekend specials at 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky, Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio, Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio, and Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio.
