Can blankets be put down to save seats for Farmer city summer national? Their website isn't really helpful.
Thanks

While I disagree with Turnleft on them being sold out if you should want to eat prior to going to the track check out Dewey's just around the bend from the track. Love their food.

They were closed down by intermission 2 weeks ago. Why would someone expect them to be open past hotlaps when the crowd will be larger?

You can say I'm full of crap all you want, but the fact remains that the facility is a dump, the concessions were closed by intermission, the restrooms were nasty beyond belief. The urine smell was so strong it burnt your eyes.

Just to be fair, I went to Spoonriver last week and it wasn't much better. Restrooms are also terrible, but concessions were open all night.

I go to FALS most every week. Grew up and still live right between FC and FALS. Have been to most tracks in IL at one time or another, with Tri-City being one of the few I haven't. I have been to over 70 tracks across America, so I have seen most everything a track can do, both good and bad.

There seemed to be plenty of food left heading into the late model feature last night.

Do I hate the track.......yes. Am I vocal about it......yes. Do I lie.....NO. I came to the track during intermission about 3 weeks ago (night of the old timers race) and the concessions were closed, pizza and BBQ were also. Kettle corn was tearing down. I was able to get a bag and a lemonade shake-up. You may not like the way I talk about the track, but I do not lie or make things up.

Are you saying that the restrooms would pass any form of health code? I doubt it. Are you saying they have good attendance? Go any regular week and see the small crowds.
