What advice can you offer as far as getting better with the technical setup side of racing. Due to my job I am not able to get as many laps and test as much as I would like. So weeks I don't get to race I try to do my homework on these cars.

A couple of resources I use are a book called Dirt Track Stock Car Technology and Circle Track magazine.

Circle track mag has had the same info for Years, but it is not bad info. There is an old book called 'How to make your car handle" by Fred Puhn.It is mostly a road race book but it gives good info on suspension dynamics in ways you can understand it.Performance trends software is also good. This stuff will give you the basics on how weight transfers ,virtual swing arms, roll center etc...you have to learn how to apply it to dirt tracks.
