Yeah. There is a certain announcer that makes sure he spends 80% of his time talking about Davenport too. Just like a song on the radio or commercial on TV - when over played or talked about to much people get sick of it.

He hasn't done anything this year? 15 wins already and it's only end of July. The crown jewels haven't even started yet. I bet he gets two more of those this year. After the record year he had last year, of course this looks like a bad year for him but that's definitely not the case. Hard to live up to the best season in dirt racing history.

To have a season like JD did last year requires a LOT of luck. What he's doing this year is what his season would have looked like last year without the luck. He's got a lot of talent and a good team, but to compare anyone to what he accomplished last season is unfair.

As far as DoD and Essex favoring JD goes...really? DoD is about as unbiased as you can get and Essex shows the love to whoever is doing well that night. I just don't see it all. Maybe I don't see the bias because I root for JD though.

Absolutely, you are entitled to you opinion. I recently watched 7-8 features on dirt on dirt that JD won and the only thing keeping him out of the fence was a cushion. Also when he wrecks or has a flat, bouncing off the cushion is usually the culprit. He likes the cushion, it's a fact!

That doesn't bode well for the other SLM racers but expect Davenport to be a "factor" as long as he chooses to race.

2015 the team could do no wrong, this year not so much. Racing is a strange sport. You need skill, a good team, confidence and a little bit of luck. It just goes to show that this sport can be cruel sometimes! Still having an overall good season, just not like last year. "NOT THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT.
