That's the same view I had from turn 3 as I only saw the very end of it. Didn't know it was that violent till I watched it this A.M. There are a few vids of it already.

According to a post on FALS website, a board member stated that they are in talks about sprint cars coming next year, and fencing is the main area of improvement needed. According to a person sitting near us last night, he says the fence upgrade is already a go for the winter.

We talked to one of the management team of FALS while camping on the backstretch at the POWRi show a couple of weeks ago and he said there was nothing etched in stone as of that day. But added that there would definitely be an effort made on behalf of FALS to get the fencing upgraded and talks with a solid 410 sprint car sanction would be made. That would be in addition to another POWRi show next season. To that I said YIPPEE!!

Hopefully it will be a wingless 410 show, preferably USAC!

IMO cars are on the ragged edge of safe right now. With the advances in technology, aero, engines etc cars are too "in" the race track in certain conditions. Watch how much the left rear travels and notice how low nose pieces are on the right side. Then notice how many of these deals seem to start with the right front of digging in/rolling under.

Levi already has a date set for the USAC National Midgets to race at The Illinois State Fairgrounds around Independence Day of next year and I would expect more USAC racing activity in Illinois in the future with Levi calling the shots.

Levi Jones being involved gives USAC instant credibility with tracks and promoters.

Still on the USAC schedule and there has been no official notice from USAC of cancellation of that particular event in spite of the fact that the former promoters have ceased operations. Until it's removed from the schedule it's safe to assume that it's going to take place.
