Seymour, Indiana (08/02/16) – On Saturday night Cody Mahoney piloted his Black Diamond by Club 29 Race Car #4 FK Rod Ends/ Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Engine Super Late Model to his second win in as many weeks. His latest triumph came at Brownstown Speedway during the annual Fair Race.

“Things are really starting to come together nicely for our team,” said Mahoney. “Two wins in two weeks is something we are very proud to accomplish. I just want to thank everyone, who supports this program and makes it possible.”

Running in the annual Grand Fair Race/Paul Crockett Memorial, both Adam Bowman and Cody Mahoney visited Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) on Saturday night for the unsanctioned event.

In a field of 27 entries, Mahoney recorded the fastest time in his group in qualifications, while Bowman timed in 2nd-quickest in his respective group. Cruising to a heat race win, Mahoney earned the pole starting spot for the main event. Slipping to a 5th-place finish in his heat, Adam started 13th on the feature grid.

Capturing his second-straight and third win overall, Mahoney charged to the A-Main victory over Chad Stapleton, Tanner English, Joe Godsey, and Alan Magner. Adam worked his way through the field seven positions to record a 6th- place finish.

“We struggled a little bit there in the heat race, but the car was much better for the feature,” said Bowman. “It’s great to see Cody rolling good again, and I feel like we’ve got some wins just around the corner for my car as well.”
