Brownstown Hosts $3000 To Win/$400 to Start Ultimate “BoB” SLMS Saturday Night
CARNESVILLE, Georgia (Aug 2, 2016) This Saturday night, the Ultimate “Battle of the Bluegrass: Super Late Model Series heads to Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. In its 60th year, the ¼ mile semi banked facility is the first repeat on the Ultimate “Battle of The Bluegrass” Super Late Model Series schedule. In April, Kent Robinson of Bloomington, IN took the win just ahead of Devin Gilpin, Columbus, IN, Greg Johnson of Bedford, IN, Dustin Linville, Lancaster, KY and Salvisa, KY’s Michael Chilton.
Jeremy Hines of Seymour, IN comes into Brownstown atop the Ultimate “Battle of The Bluegrass” Super Late Model Series point standings ahead of Olympia, KY’s Derek Fisher and Dustin Linville of Lancaster, K. Michael Chilton and Jason Jameson of Walton, KY round out the Top 5. All five are expected to compete this Saturday night at Brownstown.
Cody Mahoney of Madison, IN is expected to be on hand as well and enters the event as a favorite by virtue of his Brownstown win this past weekend. Mahoney is also the most recent Ultimate “Battle of The Bluegrass” Super Late Model Series winner when he notched his first BoB win July 23rd at Ponderosa.
