Cory Hedgec ock Garners Another Two-Win Weekend

Loudon, Tennessee (08/08/16) – Cory Hedgec ock’s dominant 2016 season steamrolled through the weekend as the Tennessee racer scored two more wins in his K&P Used Cars #23 Transport One/ Rocket Chassis/ Eagle Racing Engine Late Model.

On Friday night Cory Hedgec ock visited Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) to take part in the Fan Appreciation Night. In a field of 17 Steelhead Late Models, Hedgec ock earned the 2nd-starting position for the feature following preliminary events. Storming to his 15th win of the season, Cory topped Jason Trammell, John Tweed, Barrett Lowe, and Trevor Sise in the in the feature event. Hedgec ock claimed a $1,200 payday for his 30-lap A-Main victory!

The following night brought Cory to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned event. With 33 cars entries on hand for the annual J.T. Kerr Memorial, Hedgec ock recorded the fastest lap in qualifications, which put him on the pole for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Leading from flag-to-flag, Cory Hedgec ock cruised to win #16 with Ronnie Johnson, Tanner Works, Brandon Williams, and Heath Hindman rounding out the Top 5 in the 40-lapper.

“This is just an amazing time for our team right now,” said Hedgec ock. “They are giving me a great car every night, and I’m doing everything I can to do my job. Hopefully we can keep this momentum rolling for the rest of the season!”

The upcoming weekend, August 12-13 will find Hedgec ock double-dipping with the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series. On Friday evening action opens at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) before shifting to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night. Both events pay $3,000-to-win.
