Gonna try to hit both tracks this weekend, will be interesting to see who shows up. Obviously no Satterlee, and from another post i just saw Hubbard is out for a while so that's 2 strong cars/drivers out from the area. Should definitely be some good racing Friday night, I think Covert will have a strong weekend. Anyone but the 1!

I made my WoO debut last year at Delaware International Speedway. I enjoyed it so much I am going back tomorrow night. I also want to go to Potomac for the first time on Friday. I didn't realize, until I looked at a map today, that there is no easy way to go from one to the other. Looks like a 2 1/2 hour ride between the tracks?????

Yeah sounds about right. Friday afternoon traffic will make it even longer trying to come south

If you do decide to make the trip depending on the time once you hit Bowie id take the back roads to avoid alot of 301 traffic. I use to be able to make the drive from Baltimore in about and hour and 15 before they put traffic lights every 12 feet

Yeah, I thought when heats were out we were in for a long boring night. Glad the top started coming in over in 1 and 2. Made for some interesting racing. Definitely was a good show and awesome to see Moyer Jr win!

I think the heat had a lot to do with it. The guy next to me left after the heats because it was too hot. It was pretty miserable, when the SLM were not on track I had to go out and sit in the car with AC on.

Yeah you're probably right. We got to both Potomac and Winchester around 5, got our tickets or pit passes, marked our spot then went back to the car. The last few years we were packed in the stands elbow to elbow and we had plenty of room this year
