I highly doubt Bloomquist or Owens will be at Bulls Gap. With the Topless at Batesville starting Friday, they probably don't want to run the night before. Probably can expect Marlar and Madden though

I don't know how he could've said that since the next Lucas race was at BMS Aug 18-20. Now that BMS has cancelled, Bloomer will be at Bulls Gap according to his website.

It shows on his schedule BMS 18th-20th. How could he be at two places in the same time? Someone updated the schedule sometime this afternoon, I looked last night at work before BMS even cancelled and it didn't have the Gap on it.

Looks like it could be a strong field of cars with the Lucas race getting rained out.

Id say the only 'national' drivers that will be there will be the ones that live close. Id say JD wont be there trying to save laps on his motor

I always enjoy the "I was told" and "my source told me" and "I heard" posts......which basically amount to you checking twitter, facebook, and driver websites, just merely twisting it so that it makes you sound inner-circle. Not hating, just saying!

Wasn't trying to sound like I was hot **** or something, in fact I was shooting for the opposite effect. If you want to know the truth I emailed Randy Weaver as a fan to wish him well on his continued recovery and he mentioned Davenport at the Scorcher in his reply. So I'm nobody special but that came direct from the man himself. Just thought that the info might be appreciated -- you're welcome.

Yes, "Longhorn by Weaver" to be exact. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Davenport has won like three out of four starts in that car. Should be interesting.

The first 3 races were wins. The last race w it he finished 5th. He runs well in that car. He should pick up a good finish this wknd in it. Going to be interesting to see how well he does.

I wonder if the Rumleys have any ill feelings deep down in when he wins in the 116 car? Especially if he makes it look easy?

There's a lot of people on here that are in the know than you think. This section is called the "racing gossip" for that reason.

There wasn't any info on social media of JD driving the 116 til today, so apparently callmez knew something.

Had the battery not been kaput in the 116 at Lernerville, I tend to think he would have been 4 for 4.
