Labor Day Championships up Next for Tri-County Race Track on Monday September 5th

BRASSTOWN, N.C. – August 31, 2016 – Tri-County Race Track located in Brasstown, N.C. will host their next race on Monday September 5th and a huge night of racing is planned during the Sixth Annual Labor Day Championship race.

The Georgia-based USCS (United Sprint Car Series) Sprint Cars will return to the Brasstown, N.C. oval along with a full show for all other racing divisions. The Super Late Models will race for $1,200-to-win, the Limited Late Models race for $800-to-win, the Crate Late Models compete for $600-to-win, the Modified Street division races for $400-to-win, the Street Stock class will compete for $300-to-win and the Pony class will be competing for $300-to-win.

In addition to the USCS Sprint Cars and the full racing program, the annual “Fastor Pastor” races will take place during the evening along with the “Kid’s Nickel Night” on the front-stretch during intermission.

During last season’s USCS Sprint Car visit to Tri-County Race Track, Marshall Skinner of Marion, Ark. captured the big payday over Cordova, Tenn. driver Morgan Turpen, Terry Gray of Bartlett, Tenn., Nick Roberts of Bloomingburg, Ohio and Eric Riggins Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.

On Monday September 5th the pit gates open at 3:00 pm while the grandstand gates open at 4:00 pm. The Driver’s Meeting is slated for 6:00 pm and racing to begin at around 6:30 pm. Adult General Admission is $18.00 with children ages 11-16 admitted for $10.00 while children ten and under are free. Adult Pit Passes are $30.00 while children ages 11-16 admitted for $15.00 while children ten and under are free.
