what are the plus's and minus's of angling the lower bars inward? how much, 1 side or both sides. My thinking is that as the rearend moves to the left in the corner that the right bar is going to push the rearend backwards causing more rear steer. correct?

Yes correct and as it gets up on the lr it allows it to move a little farther forward as well

Generally, it cause more indexing which tends to override the roll steer. I have personally used it to fine tune a cars handling.

A simple way to do it is...make up 1/2" wide spacers and put them on the nut side of the frame/birdcage bracket. Then if youre at the track, you already have the longer bolt installed.
