I really don't feel like JHawk is a dark horse. Barring mechanical failure, he's a top 3 car.

Yeah he isn't a darkhorse at Tyler.

JHawk is most definitely a dark horse. He's capable of winning this race but we're talking about the Lucas Oil coming in here. Also, 100 laps is a lot different than Jhawk is use to. It'll be a different animal for those guys that are use to running 25-50 laps. Most people around the country would be surprised seeing him in victory lane even though he runs so good at Tyler.

I would consider Jared and Tim Dohm favorites. My darkhorse would be Derek Doll.

Nobody at all would be surprised to see him win unless they don't pay attention. Definitely not a darkhorse. Tyler is one of those tracks where the locals have a big advantage.

Jared won the Black Diamond.....

It was 50 laps. I'm not saying he can't win it. I'm sure he will run top 5. But it's still going to take a lot to take down guys like Davenport, and Bloomquist even though Bloomer doesn't run well at Tyler.

That's true...... he has as good of chance as anyone IMO......the big story is Bloomquist having the year he is having and never winning at Tyler.

I'm calling Mason Ziegler to win and Michael Lake my dark horse. Lake runs good up there and he is the best 15 year old kid I ever seen in a car.

I think Tyler County is going to be right up Sheppard's alley. I'll take Zack Dohm or Jake Hawkins as a dark horse.

The whole weekend looks like another Bloomie social. Portsmouth for sure, and then this race a little less likely. I haven't seen anyone not named Pierce compete with his car in a few months. As he whined about Davenport last year having a faster Go Kart, this year he does. So a little less whining. LOL
