Conley’s Land in Top Five at Portsmouth and Atomic; Pepsi 60 River Days Rumble Next
(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Delmas and Rod Conley ventured to weekly Super Late Model events at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio and Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio respectively on Saturday evening, August 27 and both walked away with top five efforts. At PRP, Delmas ran fourth in his heat race prior to moving past four competitors during the $2,000 to win A-Main en route to a solid third place podium performance behind only winner Nick Bocook and runner-up Robbie Lewis. On Saturday at Atomic, Rod placed second in his heat race and fourth in the $1,500 to win headliner behind only victor Jackie Boggs, Jason Montgomery, and Billy Gullion. Complete results from both Buckeye State venues can be accessed online at www.portsraceway.com and www.atomicspeedway.net.
Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) will now gear up for one of the biggest races on their schedule each year – the ‘Pepsi 60 River Days Rumble.’ The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will roll into the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday, September 3 and Delmas, Rod, and R.J. Conley will all battle the national touring stars in the single-day shootout. A $12,000 top prize will be up for grabs at PRP in the feature event, which is scheduled to be 60 laps in distance. More information concerning the ‘Pepsi 60 River Days Rumble’ can be obtained online at www.lucasdirt.com.
