Next Year at Baltes a Shane Unger Memorial Race??

Why not run a Shane Unger Memorial Race. Maybe at the Memorial Day Race pay 7979 to win and 379 to start a 35 lap feature? Or how about at the Baltes Classic? Would be a nice thing maybe part of the 50/50 would go to Shanes wife and kids? Just a thought.

They might honor him, but I doubt they change the Baltes race. They could do a 79 laps for $7900 the Wednesday before the world next year.

Gonna be hard pressed to get the fans and drivers to the Big E for another night of racing on top of all the laps they turn for the Dream and the World. Fans are already shelling a lot of money as it is. No guarantee such a race would generate a profit anyway. Frankly, I think passing a helmet around or a go fund me page would be more successful, if such assistance is needed.
