Cory Hedgec ock Tops I-75; Lands High Roller Street Stock Ride

Loudon, Tennessee (09/13/16) – They say to never take a knife into a gunfight, but Cory Hedgec ock did just that on Saturday night and came away with yet another feature win at I-75 Raceway. He powered his SmithBilt Homes #23 Transport One/ Rocket Chassis Crate Late Model to a victory against a field of Steel Head Late Models.

“We were at a little bit of a disadvantage, horsepower wise, but it didn’t matter because our car was so good,” commented Hedgec ock. “We’ve really been able to get the setup di”aled in for I-75 Raceway this year, and it felt awesome to get another win there.

On Saturday night Cory Hedgec ock returned to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee), piloting in his K&P Used Cars #23 Crate Late Model against a field of Steelhead Late Models. After posting the fastest time in qualifying, Hedgec ock started on the pole for the feature event. Picking up his 18th win of the season, Cory was followed across the finish line by Jason Manley, Benjy Shaw, Paul Tims, and Andy Standridge in the A-Main.

Hedgec ock will return to the driver’s seat of his Super Late Model this Saturday night, when he enters the Southern All Star (SAS) Racing Series event at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee). For more information on the event, please visit www.SASDirt.com .

Cory is also excited to announce that he has landed a ride in the #25 High Roller Race Car Street Stock for a pair of season-ending, big events. He will debut in the car at the $5,000-to-win, 2nd annual Fall 40 Street Stock Nationals at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on October 6-8. The following weekend will see him piloting the entry in the $10,000-to-win, Showdown on the Coast at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia).
