I don't know that it is normal, but not surprising. It is longer than Eldora and way harder on the throttle. 100 laps at this joint is full wood pretty much the whole time and when you have Flinner in the field, those caution laps add up.

The only way they can even make it is with the race gas they run, if they ran methanol like the sprint cars, no way they could make it.

They are right. Anything past a 10 lap run and Bloomquist was coming. He did what he does a lot, he was scared to roll the rf tire off so he went harder and it took some laps before he got the turn in the car that he needed. If he would have had a long green at the end, it was a bad night for Marlar. I'm biased but the clock doesn't lie
