I've noticed some of the faster cars around running a chain on their LF. My theory is it would limit weight transfer to the RR and load the LR more than the right and tighten on throttle handling. Anyone tried this or have thoughts?

You are on the right track. I have the LF chained, and it seems to work well for me, but a Mod has a lot more going on than a SS.

Thanks for the reply. I think we're gonna give it a try. Any suggestions on setting the length?

Don't run a chain. Just keep the spring loaded a little with some type of limiter. I see these guys doing this and most of the time the they suck through the center. Work on your shock package and understand what does what. On our street stock and mod program we just switch LR shocks now depending on where we start and track conditions.

When you say keep the spring loaded with a limiter, isn't that what they're doing with the chain? If not what type of limiter would you suggest?

I am using the adjustable crotch belt, from an old set of seatbelts.
works great on my mod
its able to be adjusted in small increments. once I got the feel, I marked it with a marker, recorded the length and watch to make sure it does not slip or move.
