Hurst is gonna be racing the #58 at Tipton on Thursday for the $1000 to win Fall Bash. There is something in the works for Gus to run someone else's car at Peoria on the 8th. It's not a for sure deal, won't know till mid week.

I'll second the thanks for the past winners!!

I was there to watch Bohlander win a couple of those Illinois State Championship races. Also watched Tommy Rients win it in '85.

The Illinois State Championship used to be a BIG race along with The Midwest Invitational at Sterling Speedbowl Park in Sterling, Illinois. I'm glad and honored I got to attend several of both.

Webb probably wont make the Peoria event. Its my understanding that Gary had emergency surgery a few weeks ago out east and has returned home just a few days ago......I have no other information except he doing fine.

That Illinois state Championships had alot of meaning for the longest time when Chuck Hamilton was running the show but when Chuck passed away and sherry took over things went to h\3ll in a hand basket thats for sure it became more about how much money she made mo0re than for the honor of their Late Son John Hamilton!!

Really DumbA$$ your questioning me about how that race has gone downhill since Chuck Hamilton Passed away? It use to have so much more prestige than what it has now because Sherry Ran it in the ground with her my way or the highway attitude and her its all about me attitude so dont fukin question me when you yourself know what the score is with that B!tch! I have personally been there and witnessed her tell a racer not to bring his car back to her track until he changed his tires Just because he came to her play ground and stomped everyones a$$ at an open tire show!! So yes i do happen to know a little more about peoria speedway and how it works than what you seem to think i do..... Now go back downstairs and play on your mommies Commadore64..... Or better yet go out and play in the traffic on one of peorias busy streets!!

lol....Nothing intelligent to say so you revert to namecalling in your illiterate 3rd grade response. Again please tell me with some specifics how she (in your words) ran that race in the ground. Last night was a packed house and some pretty good racing.
