Ponderosa Speedway’s Fan Appreciation Night Features All Divisions on Friday October 21
Junction City, KY (October 12, 2016)- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jamie Stumph and co-owner Larry Redenivs will present the track’s Fan Appreciation Night at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” on Friday October 21, with the racing program featuring all six divisions of racing competition in action.
As part of the Fan Appreciation Night activities, each person that pays general admission to get in to watch the racing events on Friday October 21 will receive a certificate for a free hot dog or fountain drink. Also, race fans will be able to get registered for free giveaways throughout the course of the evening at the track.
Ponderosa Speedway’s Fan Appreciation Night will take place on Friday October 21 and will see the Super Late Models racing for $1,500 to win, along with Pro Late Models racing for $1,000 to win. Also on the Fan Appreciation Night racing program on October 21 will be Modifieds racing for $800 to win, KDRA Super Stocks racing for $750 to win, Stock Four Cylinders racing for $400 to win, and Mini-Cup/Cyclones racing for $100 to win. Of note, if there are less than ten (10) entries in the Stock Four Cylinder and/or Mini-Cup/Cyclone division, those divisions will run a feature event only, with Stock Four Cylinders 15 laps and Mini-Cup/Cyclones 12 laps). All divisions will utilize the practice/time trial combo format to determine heat race starting positions. RACEceivers are mandatory for use in all divisions and transponder timing/scoring will be used and the transponder rental fee is $10. All drivers are urged to be at the track and signed in by 7:00 p.m.

Activities for the Friday October 21 Fan Appreciation Night racing program at Ponderosa Speedway will see the pit area and general admission area open at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 7:00 p.m., with practice/time trial laps set to begin at 7:20 p.m., followed immediately by green flag racing. Tickets prices for the Friday October 21 racing program in the general admission will be $15 for adults, while children ages 12 and under will be FREE. In the pit area, a pit pass for adults will be $30, while children ages 6 to 12 will be $15, with children ages 5 and under FREE.
