Henry Hornsby III Wins FASTRAK SE "Future Stars Cup".
16 Year old Henry Hornsby III wins the 2016 Inaugural SE Division Future Stars Cup of the FASTRAK Late Model Series.
Hornsby also won his first FASTRAK touring event in 2016 winning the "moonshine 50" at Tyler County Speedway during the Hillbilly 100 weekend. Hornsby led the 2016 World Challenge and for a time the World Championship that same weekend at Virginia Motor Speedway while battling with another teen contender Ryan Montgomery. They traded the lead time after time during the World Championship events keeping everyone on the edge of their seat all night long.
It should be noted that both Hornsby and Montgomerys fathers are friends and were sitting beside each other during the race as they said “you know last year we were sitting here watching this race together and this year we are sitting on the front row. That’s pretty awesome”.
The future of the FASTRAK Late Model Series is in good hands with these up and coming teens.
