I have a 2003 D & M metric chassis set up as a Sport Mod. I am wanting feedback on changing the front end to nova lowers. Will I benefit from it? And also what would it take to change over, parts wise? Any feedback is appreciated.

yes it is a huge improvement
you can soften spring rates cause motion ratio changes form 25% to 30%
go to a 5" od spring
gain width
gain wheelbase (need to check what you are now cause I think it adds roughly 2")
use pinto spindles. cause you get a $hit ton of Ackerman with the metric spindle, too much is not a good thing.
you will change:

Uppers
lowers
tie rods
maybe brake hoses (depending on how long yours are)

Had one done it. Throw a 650 rf and 700 LF. Too loose getting in? Bring in the rr or put out the rf. Get ride height in front about 6.5-7". You'll drag frame if not.

Where do you measure ride height? Thanks for the info too!

Right side frame rail. But just keep raising square till you don't bottom out hard we used about 5" travel on rf at times.

Also have to move spring bucket. It's all worth it if done correctly

I agree with most statements except the spring rates. I did everything listed above and the car was better but not great! Bottomed out too much! And carried the left front too much! I had to increase RF spring to 800lbs then the car was a rocket.

Sounds like to light on the rr, to much LR hike, and not much LF drop out.
