Redd!ick, will be moving over to Chip Ganassi racing in the Xfinity series. He will share driving duties with Kyle Larson in the number #42

Beats no ride at all, BKR has already announced their drivers for next year, don't understand why he didn't keep the ride. Although he didn't set the world on fire, he's far from a backmarker.

At least he's sharing it with a informative racer. He should get good feedback from Larson.
This will be Kyles 5th year in Cup. After 5 years, a Cup driver can only enter 10 events. It is a move up in the ranks so to say. That's good for Tyler. Now he needs to make some noise.

If I'm not mistaken wasn't he one of the contenders for the Truck championship last year as a matter of fact he finished just 15 points behind Jones for the championship.

You're right. Red1ck just missed out on Championship last year. This year wasn't horrible. He did get 1 win which is tough when you have a half dozen or so Cup guys to compete with. Maybe down the road it will be Larson and Tyler as team mates in Cup for CGR.

I thought so and to have Larson helping him out you might be right.

The reason it's not full time is the money he spent buying a full time truck ride will only buy you 10-12 xfininty races.

Yes he might have the natural talent Larson has but, Redd!ick has talent. Your not going to stick someone in Craftsman Truck ride and almost when a championship without talent.

Absolutly untrue... this isn't a "Bought ride"....CG came to Tyler and this is what he had available for him... the full time ride with his team will be Brendan Poole's again...

Wait till the sponsor is announced... I 100% garentee you it's not BBR... the only reason it wasn't announced Friday is because Tyler doesn't turn 21 until Jan 11 ;)

You can be the most talented driver in the world in nascar the first question is how much money can you bring. With the new rules about how many race a cup driver can run in infinity a team like Gibbs or gasnassi can have a sponsor for a full season but since they can't run a cup driver the remaining the team will sell the remaining race to the one who can bring the most money. The owner has the best of both world money from the sponser and the driver.
