Need to replace u joints on driveshaft. What's the best one to use. With grease fitting or no grease fitting.

We always put non greaseable spicer in ours. They are stronger and are smoother due to thrust washers inside the caps.

My DS guy always uses Spicer w/Zerks on the non thrust side to prevent breakage.

We've used both greasable and non and never had an issue with either but, like dangerdann and lizard said, always Spicer. U joints are not a place to save a buck or two.

one thing, spicer makes a standard and a heavy duty, the heavy duty has smaller needle bearings and are way stronger , this is what i use , as much movement as these drive lines have , they will hold up way longer.

Spicer, non greaseable +1 on the HD. Greaseable are hollow! Greaseable fine and preferred in a crate car. Replace every season for a weekly racer. Monitor the rear joint for any play at all, especially if running a lot of LR drop.
