Wow..... Really nice schedule for some of the "working man" teams. A guy could take a couple weeks vacation and hit them all. I like it!

Funny how Cook and racers always complain about low purses or purses being the same as they have for years yet Cook chooses a pathetic $3500 to win purse at his own track.

Why don't they make those 10k-to win races 10,053-to win? ..am I the only one to wonder about that? ..:)

Yeah, I figured a 10k to win show in the middle of nowhere on a Monday night would have been a better move too..........

Looks like Friday July 14th was open. Being he is the promoter I'm sure he could have scheduled that and had more cars/fans.

Did the Ray Cook series adopt all the new safety rules?

Except that getting to Murphy, NC on a Friday isn't all that easy for out of towners. Don't see the issue with mid week shows that pay $450 to start.

Paying more doesn't really equate to more cars or fans either with regional shows. WoO and Lucas do, but not really regional tours. They have 11 races in 15 days. If he paid 5 or 10k, maybe he draws 3-4 more cars (I doubt it). That doesn't justify the few grand difference in purse.

Schedule is nice. The purses are weak. Cook needs to up the ante. This isn't 1990. The SNBS races have some good purses. Why not co-sanction one of them.
