what year did the start making the cages taller? I have an 08 and looking for one that is taller

I think 2014 they went to standard taller cages. But there are cars out there with that option before 13/14 year cars. I am in the same boat as you looking for one.

It has been an available option for several years. I order all of our cars that we race and sell with a 1-1/2" taller cage.

We have a 2015 house car for sale that is a 1-1/2" taller cage with a raised front as well.
