Pretty darn impressive to go in there first year and have the racing they did last night. Track made for passing high and low. We are so glad we've come up here. Was the feature the race of the year? Who knows, that's so subjective. But don't see how anyone could argue that it wasn't great racing.

Sure there are those who will always find something to complain about and be negative. You have to feel sorry for them really, to live life this way. So easy to be a keyboard critic and the truth is all they are doing is hurting the sport we all love.

Merry Christmas to all the dirt late model fans out there and let's hope that tonight is just as good!

great racing but the coverage on DOD seems like I'm watching more track prep than racing.

Well...so the late model feature Sat night wasn't as good as Friday night but that's asking a lot. What is not asking a lot is to run that run program a bit more efficiently. There was a huge amount of dead time before the feature. You simply do not grow the support with new fans when you ask them to sit for a few hours watching graders and a sheeps foot

And the answer for you is > Asphalt ! Very little track prep. Thank You very much

Not everything was perfect but for a 1st time event with all the logistical challenges they did a fantastic job and it produced exciting racing. I'm sure they learned things that can help out in future years with moving the show along quicker. Great 1st effort. Last nights crowd rivaled the biggest crowds the sport gets for its biggest events. Any city folk that saw their first dirt late model race this weekend had to be entertained. Cody Sommer pulled it off. Kudos to him!

Kenny Wallace is a bad race car driver who would be a big nothing loser if he didn't have a brother named Rusty and why was he in the mod feature, did he get an idiot provisional.

And how about local guy Chad Zobrist ? He ran toward the front both nights and came away with two really good finishes. I don't think he ever travels out of the St. louis area to race. Good for him.

A local guy won the big mod race Saturday night too.

I thought Zobrist stuck to those two tracks.
Also, great run Saturday for Hunter Rasdon. Between him and Matt Cooper the midsouth was well represented.

He was the first inline, as he finished 1 spot out of the transfer position.
