basically, the top 8 guys in Lucas were exactly where they should be...the top 8, lol....of course JD isn't running full series, but yea. That was another really good night of racing. The top side went away late. Nobody could take that chance last 5 laps. O'Neal with save of the year nomination!

First night of points was tonight.It's 3rd night of points. That's why Overton was running the spoiler night 2 in Georgia. He had the points lead after one night. Bloomquist was 7th in points coming into tonight.

I concur. And the fact that he's back with Barry, would be interesting.Yea, I 3rd that...If you caught his interview after qualifying, JD said he wasn't running the full series right now because him and BW built the car from ground up, and are still doing testing on the car and trying to use the next couple months to tweak and get the right set up for JD. To me, the interview made me believe if they have a decent year, expect JD back full time on Lucas series next year. That was my interpretation, not anything I've officially heard.....yet, lol.

Friday night at East Bay was some of the best dirt late model racing you'll see all year. I've watched all the EB action starting on Monday night and from a spectator standpoint the racing has been way above average all week. We'll be anxiously watching again tonight (Saturday) with the hopes that the great racing continues through the finale'.

The past two nights during the A-main just when it appeared the track was rubbered up and locked down on the bottom someone got the cushion to work and made a move up high. Great stuff!!

The only dissenting evaluation is the announcers can be rather annoying at times with their constant speech/voice inflections of nearly every drivers name and borderline screaming, but that's overwhelmingly overshadowed by the high quality of the racing.
