My question is how will they decide who gets the "free pass" provisional since there is always some form of controversy with them at any bigger CLS hosted event, I think the fans and racers should demand to know this in advance.

No Late Models at the Masters, this year?
No Late Models. Just late model drivers if they race a modified.
Jimmy Mars has it on his schedule.

Sorry to hear about no LMs. The good thing is, I don't have to deliberate how far it is for a LM show. Are they still running the WOO LM in August?
Yes, and I already have my tickets and campsite for my motor home. See Cedar Lake Schedule: http://www.cedarlakespeedway.com/page/show/679297-schedule
The Masters this year will draw over 100 of the best Modified racers in the world. Thursday night is a $3000 to win USMTS show and Friday is qualifying for Saturday nights $50,000 to win, $2000 to start A-Main. Riches Modified event ever and it should be a good one.

I'm guessing a lot of LM guys will get mod and go for it.. maybe 10 notable driver's??
Many of the MB Custom Drivers own both mods and late models. They are all bad fast at Cedar Lake.

Thought I read a month or so back somewhere, that Chris Simpson will be running a Mod a few times this year.

This is a huge modified race, but not the biggest ever. It's funny how many have forgotten about the Alltel 100, which paid $100,000 for modifieds way back in 2004, back when $2,000 was a lot of money for modifieds. Of course, Bloomer built himself a modified and with virtually no mod experience, he took the $100K home.
Still, it's good to see the mods back on the map with another huge event. This should be a very good one, with easily 40-50 top cars there who can legitimately be considered contenders.

I don't think he built it himself.

I want to say it was built buy Jeff Taylor out of Arkansas. "Shaw by Taylor", maybe??
Someone on here will remember for sure.

You're probably right, I should have just said Bloomer "got himself a modified".

Yes it definitely was a Shaw, he was even going back to Larry's shop to add "aerodynamics" after he had seen what some of the other guys had done. As far as a Taylor/Shaw I don't think they were even out yet??

Farley IA will be having a 50k to win IMCA mod show, with a 20k Sport mod show that goes with it. I guess Bloomer has already shown interest to the new owners of the track on attending. Lucas oil is off that weekend (may 11-13th)
What would Trump drive if he raced at the Masters?
