I don't think they are going to Richmond unless they have changed their mind about this weekend.

41 cars

Tyler Carpenter and Chase Junghans fastest in their groups, Carpenter fastest overall.

Heat winners; Carpenter, Fisher, Junghans, Bshep.

Weather is threatening the area. I'm just hoping they don't drag their feet anymore than they already have.

I thought it was a decent show myself, I wouldn't call it a train race either.

I think I picked the winner. LOL

It was not due to the track tho, he was just dominant....Zach Dohm came from 13th to finish 2nd and Overton made several moves as well. The track did take rubber with about 20 or so to go but the first half of the race was very good. It was my first trip there and enjoyed seeing all the guys that I normally don't get to see run, the track is really different and special as well.

The race wasn't bad in my eyes, it took some rubber in the second half of the race; but they got the race in when most every track around got washed out.

Would have like to see if Dohm could've got the win if he started a little closer to the front, but Tyler is pretty hard to beat. Kids really got his stuff figured out in the slick. Glad to see both of those young guns go down there and have impressive runs

He is impressive. If he keeps the car under him and doesn't get excited, he's very good. I used to think him in a top ride would be crazy, but he's all around getting better. His interview on DoD was honest and well done.

Certainly don't judge a book by it's cover, cause he's a wheelman.

The track itself has come a long way too from where it was 10-12 years ago. I'd rather go to Junction City or Florence but Richmond is moving in the right direction.

It wasn't the best race I've seen, but it wasn't the worst either. Richmond is sort of a tricky place anyway because it seems more narrow than other tracks, so you don't have a lot of space. At least that's my impression from the stands.
