Strange that Arthur was not there? He was not at Port Royal either for the AMS race. He was the point leader after his win at Bedford last night too.

One of the nicest facilities I have ever been to if not the best and it is in the worst location it could possibly be in. If that track was in a different location it would be one of the premier tracks in the country, sad that the location effects it that much.

When 8th place only pays $675 more than 24th you aren't going to get many cars. Add to that this was a 100 lap race so double the wear on an engine. At a cost of about $25 per lap to run these cars only three cars in this $20,000 to win race made money. Top heavy purses are hurting car counts almost as much as the cost of racing.

No the VMS pits are across a road behind the one set of Grand Stands and it is basically a parking lot for haulers, nice as can be really.
