What is the best intake for a flattop 383 with patriot performance vortec heads the edelbrock 2925 or brodix hvh 1000 or hvh 1200 or other? Going to turn it 7600 to 7800
I'm not familiar with the bolt pattern on those heads, assuming a standard 23 degee intake will bolt to them.Edelbrock 2925 is what I would use.1200 is for brodix -12 heads, do you have one?

I use the 2925 with vortecs on a 362 flat top with 11 to 1 on a 500 cfm. I think it is definitely the right intake if your looking to keep pulling to 7000 or more. I swap out with a rpm performer sometimes and I can tell the performer is better on restarts and if I lug it below 5000 in the corner but no comparison when they get stretched out in the higher rpm.
