Southern Nationals Bonus Series Event at North GA Speedway Postponed Until August 19th
BRASSTOWN, N.C. (July 4, 2017)—Officials with the North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Ga. and the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels and Tennessee RV have decided to postpone the series visit for July 4th paying $10,000-to-win to its new date of Saturday August 19th due to the high percentages of rain today and into the evening.
Forecasted heavy afternoon and evening rains have forced the second postponement of the Southern Nationals Bonus Series this season. The event will be made up on Saturday August 19th paying $10,000-to-win. There have been five different winners in five series events so far this season. Tim McCreadie, Tyler Carpenter, Donald McIntosh, Eddie Carrier Jr. and Vic Hill have all secured victories this season.
